I was recently connected with Leadership Charlotte thanks to Trae Christian of Elite Hurricane Protection, and I’m incredibly grateful for the introduction.
This year, Leadership Charlotte is supporting two powerful local nonprofits: Valerie’s House and the Animal Welfare League. The Animal Welfare League of Charlotte, an organization dedicated to giving animals a second chance through rescue, care, and adoption. I had the privilege of helping tell their story and highlight the compassion and commitment that fuels their mission every single day.
Spending time with their team was a reminder that impact comes in many forms. Sometimes it looks like community education, sometimes it looks like a wagging tail finding its forever home. The Animal Welfare League isn’t just sheltering animals; the team is building a more humane and responsible community and making sure that all of their animals are treated as their own pets.
